The World Cup winning Springboks will visit Twickenham for The Gartmore Challenge match against the star studded Barbarians team on Saturday 1st December 2007.

The BaBaas who will be coached by Irelands Eddie O’Sullivan are hoping to field a team from such high profile names as: Jerry Collins and Sitiveni Sivivatu from New Zealand, Chris Latham, Matt Giteau and Rocky Elsom from Australia, plus Juan Martin Hernandez and Mario Ledesmo from Argentina. Other World Cup superstars who are expected to play are England’s Jason Robinson and Andrew Sheridan, plus Sebastien Chabal of France, and Martyn Williams and Tom Shanklin from Wales.

The match at Twickenham will be the Barbarians sixth fixture with South Africa. The record to date is:

    I’m in Australia, I was just wanting to know if you knew if the game is going to be televised today and on which channel we would be able to see it - we are desparate to watch!
