Following a meeting of the Rugby World Cup Board it has been announced that changes will be made to the tournaments qualification process for RWC 2011 onwards and that the number of automatic qualifiers will increase to 12 places. Portugals hopes of qualifying for Rugby World Cup 2007 in France are still alive after recording a 16-15 victory over Morocco in Lisbon on Saturday.
The narrow victory means that Tomaz Morais side win the two-legged qualifier 26-20 on aggregate and now proceed through to the final Rugby World Cup qualifying Repechage round against Uruguay.

With a five-point away victory, Portugal welcome Morocco to Lisbon later today as favourites to proceed through to Rugby World Cup qualifying and the final repechage round against Uruguay.
We expect a tight game as Morocco dominated possession and territory for much of the first leg in Casablanca but Portugal’s organisation saw them home.
