England secure a Quarter-Final spot against Australia in the Velodrome, Marseille on October 6.  England won through 36-20 in a pulsating game against the Tongan’s who never know when to give up.  The game ebbed and flowed all the way through, although England once they took the lead never really looked like being bettered.

Australia beat Fiji by 55-12 to claim the top spot in Pool B with a game in hand.  Although they still have to play Canada the bonus point win means they have 15 points the maximum available to Fiji or Wales who play each other for the 2nd place in the pool.
