Well Portugal keep their hopes of qualification alive. With a narrow home win and 7 points advantage Portugal will now travel to Uruguay on the 24th hoping to win through to France in September. We are still taking Uruguay to win through.

Uruguay convincingly beat Chile in Montevideo and close in on the America 3 spot at RWC 2007. The 43-15 win now means Uruguay known as Los Teros play the loser of the Canada v USA test to be played in Newfoundland on 12 August.

Argentina start their round of RWC 2007 qualification with match’s against Chile and Uruguay in July 2006. The first game will be Chile on the 1st with Uruguay the following week. Chile and Uruguay then play each other on the 22nd.
