Chris Paterson benches for Scotland versus Portugal

Scotland head coach Frank Hadden has announced his team to play Portugal in the IRB Rugby World Cup Pool C match at Geoffroy-Guichard Stadium, Saint-Etienne on Sunday. Jason White skippers the side which has no place for Chris Paterson in the starting fifteen. This match should be on of Scotland’s bankers as they open their campaign.

Backs: Rory Lamont, Sean Lamont, Marcus Di Rollo, Rob Dewey, Simon Webster, Dan Parks, Mike Blair
Forwards: Allan Jacobsen, Scott Lawson, Euan Murray, Nathan Hines, Scott Murray, Jason White (c), Allister Hogg, Simon Taylor.

Replacements: Ross Ford, Gavin Kerr, Scott MacLeod, Kelly Brown, Rory Lawson, Chris Paterson, Hugo Southwell.
