Namibia moved a step closer to securing their place in the 2007 RWC finals in France and the African qualification spot. In a convincing win over Kenya at the Windhoek stadium they racked up 84 points to 12 in front of a vociferous crowd in excess of 3000.

Spain with a convincing win over Germany in Madrid 36-10 have moved a step closer to booking a repechage 1 play off in the 2007 qualification. The game was finely balanced until the final stages and Spain secured the points difference they needed in the last five minutes of time.
