Tonga recorded a 77-10 win against the Cook Islands in Rarotonga. This the first of the Oceania round 4 games was staged in the Tereora Stadium the home leg will be on the 8th July and on this form Tonga are clear favourites to win through.

Morocco who had been expected to beat Ivory Coast were only able to post a 9-9 draw in Abidjan. Morocco having soundly beaten Uganda 36-3 were favourites to win this encounter but Ivory Coast showed great spirit and deserved their draw.

Namibia will move closer to qualification for France 2007 with a win against Tunisia on the 1st July. Tunisia lost to Kenya last weekend and face an uphill battle to beat fancied Namibia.

Argentina start their round of RWC 2007 qualification with match’s against Chile and Uruguay in July 2006. The first game will be Chile on the 1st with Uruguay the following week. Chile and Uruguay then play each other on the 22nd.

Italy’s opponents for the round 5 RWC 2007 qualification starting in October 2006 are becoming clearer. They will play Portugal and either Ukraine or Russia, whilst in pool B Romania will play Georgia and either Spain or the Czech Republic.
