Georgia win edges them towards the Europe ‘3′ spot

Georgia beat Portugal by 17-3 at home. This win gives them the early advantage in the play-off final for Europe’s third automatic qualifying place in France next year. Portugal will need to win in Lisbon on the 25th November by more than 14 points if they are to deny Georgia a place in pool ‘D’.
