Frank Hadden has signed again for Scotland

Head coach Frank Hadden will continue to preside over Scotland after agreeing a new rolling contract. The 53-year-old’s previous deal expired after the World Cup in October and the new contract keeps him in place until a review in November 2008.

Scotland reached the last eight of the World Cup in France before bowing out to Argentina. After the defeat, Hadden, who took up the job in May 2005, said he would take time to consider his future, but he has now signed on for a further term.  This contract does not put him in charge until the 2011 Rugby world Cup, but it will be a surprise if he does not remain in charge.
