Hong Kong heading to Columbo

At Beijings China Agricultural University in a physical and tough match, Hong Kong beat China 23-7 and now go to Asian Rugby World Cup qualifying final round in November.

At the Asian show piece event they will face Korea & Japan in a fight for places at the 2007 Rugby World Cup. This final round will be played on neutral territory in Sri Lanka, the winner goes directly to France 2007 whilst the runner-up will face either Fiji, Samoa or Tonga (Oceania 3) in a playoff with matches scheduled for March & April 2007.
