Hospitality Firms should be known soon for 2011

Rugby World Cup Limited, who control the commercial rights associated with the Rugby World Cup 2011, is seeking tenders from organisations or companies interested in being appointed to develop, organise, implement and manage the official hospitality programme and/or the travel package programme, for the Rugby World Cup in New Zealand in 2011.  It is possible one operator will be appointed to deal with both programmes, or one for the hospitality programme and one for the travel programme. Tenders must be in by the 22nd June 2007.

This programme is for the organisation which will oversee the total packages and not the sales agents for tickets and hospitality, these will be set up by this organisation or organisations. We will keep you posted on the outcome of this and ant timings on where and when you can book as we are sure that it will be oversubscribed and anyone wanting to go will need to get booked up early.

Hi, we are planning to visit New Zealand for the 2011 world cup and we are interested in getting tickets for both semi finals and the final. We were wondering if dates have been finalised for these games so that we can organise our flights etc also where will be able to organise tickets, have companies been appointed yet to promote the tickets. I know there is a long time till the tournament but obviously it is a big financial commitment to get there from the UK and so we would like to get organised as soon as possible. We would appreciate any assistance on this. Kind Regards David
