Paterson starts against Wales

Chris Paterson and Kelly Brown have been recalled to Scotland’s starting line-up for Saturday’s Six Nations visit to Wales. However Paterson, controversially left on the bench for Sunday’s 27-6 defeat by France, will replace the injured Rory Lamont at full-back. Whilst Brown, who also came on as a replacement at Murrayfield, will be at number eight in place of David Callam. Replacing Paterson and Brown among the substitutes are Glasgow Warriors centre Graeme Morrison and Edinburgh back-row forward Allister Hogg.

Lock Nathan Hines has recovered from a calf injury suffered on Sunday and he will become the 23rd Scot to reach the landmark of 50 caps.
