The Management team for NZ 2011 has been announced

Rugby New Zealand 2011 Ltd has announced the first management and staff appointments as the organisation continues to take shape and lead the preparations for Rugby World Cup 2011 in New Zealand.

The appointments are: Nigel Cass General Manager, Tournament Services, seconded from the New Zealand RFU, where he was project manager for the original bid and also for the last Lions visit. Therese Walsh, General Manager, Corporate Services, she has been working with the organisation since 2006 and during that time has been responsible for negotiating the agreements and structures which have established the Tournament company. Andrew Steele Business Advisor, Tournament Services. Mr Steele is on secondment from the NZRU, where he was the Business Advisory Manager. Sally Kane has been appointed Business Advisor, Corporate Services. Ms Kane has worked with the NZRU since 2004 in the finance department and was the project financial manager for the DHL NZ Lions Series in 2005. Cath Ingram has been appointed to the position of Executive Assistant for RNZ 2011 Ltd and will be the assistant to the CEO and management team. Martin Snedden confirmed all appointees will be in the roles by the time he takes up his position on the 7th May 2007.
