Tonga win a tight contest
As expected the USA Tonga game was a cracker. Tonga scored in just under 1.1/2 minutes and were 10 nil up in no time. But the Eagles got back into the game and although it was 13-3 to Tonga at half-time the USA had started to make chances.
The second half the USA closed the gap only for Tonga to reply with a score and so the Sea Eagles went on to record their win, in no little part thanks to USA errors. With so many Islanders on the field it was another physical encounter.
Final score USA 15 and Tonga 25.
