Stade Chaban Delmas Bordeaux
Bordeaux's stadium known previously as Parc Lescure is the venue for games in the south-west of France. Bordeaux is a famous wine region with some of the finest chateaux in the world in areas such as St Emilion, Medoc, Sauternes, Graves and Pomerol, which will offer supporters some fabulous tasting opportunities.
The Chaban Delmas stadium is about to feature its third world cup having hosted games in the football world cup in 1938 and 1998, for the 1998 tournament it was given a major renovation bringing it to its current 35,000 seater capacity with covered stands which helps to keep the sun or rain off spectators.
There will be 4 pool games in the stadium in September on the 9th and 15th featuring Ireland, 25th and finally the 29th featuring Australia.

From the St Jean station take route no 9 direction Bacalan getting off at the
Stadium
From la Place de la Victoire and Place Gambetta take route no 16 direction Mérignac Capeyron. at the Pasteur stop, change to no 9 direction Parks St-Jean getting off at the stadium
- Train
- By train to the St Jean station in Bordeaux and then take the bus route 9.
- Air
- To Bordeaux-Mérignac airport, Then by the bus, route no 73 direction Tax
office, at Mérignac stop change to route 50 direction Places Gambetta,
at stop Barrier from Arès, change to route no 9 direction Parks Midsummer's
Day getting off at the stadium.

- From the airport take the avenue Rene Cassin direction Bordeaux (D106e1) for 1,7
km, continue on the Avenue President John Fitzerald Kennedy (D106e1) for 620 m,
continue on the Avenue of Matosinhos (D106e1) for 530 m, continue on the Avenue
of the Sum (D106) for 600 m, continue on the Avenue of the Marne (D106) for 2,7
km, leave Mérignac and take the Avenue of Arès (D106) for 1,3 km,
at the barrier Arès take a right onto the Boulevard Antoine Gautier for
570m, then join the boulevard of the Leclerc Marshal and you are at the Stadium.
