Georgia Rugby World Cup 2007 Probable Europe 3
Georgia have won through the rounds and taken the third Europe place so they are now into their second Rugby World Cup final, their route to France in 2007 has been tougher than their first to Australia in 2003, when they came off the back of 2 good seasons.
Before Perestroika, Georgia was in fact part of the USSR Rugby setup, they received full IRB member status in 1992 and are now ranked 17th in the world.
Georgia's Power 8 In Pool 'D'
Georgia's strength is in their front 8, many of the pack ply their trade in the higher leagues of European club rugby. They will hope for better results in France having lost all their pool games in 2003. Georgia will be grouped with France, Ireland, Argentina and Namibia in Pool D.
