Montpellier's Stadium La Mosson
La Mosson Stadium is in the Languedoc-Roussillon region of Southern France in the city of Montpellier, the stadium was fully renovated in 1997 when the wooden stands built in 1972 were removed and the 35,500 capacity seating was installed.
The stadium is situated in the north east of the city next to the river Mosson from which it gets it's name. It was one of the host stadiums for the Football world cup in 1998. Montpellier is a French university city with a world renowned medical facility said to be the oldest in Europe.
Four pool games will be hosted during September on the 12th,16th,23rd and 30th featuring Australia, Fiji and South Africa.
