Namibia Win Africa 1 RWC 2007
Namibia known locally by the nickname Welwitschias have won their African Qualifying group beating Morocco home and away to secure the Africa 1 spot into pool 'D'. This means that Namibia are now in their third World Cup.
It's Namibia's third World Cup, having played in Wales in 1999 and Australia 2003. On both occasions they failed to record a win and scored only 14 points in 1999 but doubled it to 28 in 2003. They'll be looking forward to improving on that this time out in France.
Namibia have released their new shirt for the Rugby World Cup It holds true to the previous colours being blue, with a red collar and white sides. The IRB 2007 logo is on the right chest and the national emblem on the left. The shirt which is manufactured by Gilbert holds their logo in the middle of the chest.
