South Africa Looking To RWC 2007
South Africa until the 2003 contest had only ever lost one Rugby World Cup match, that was after extra-time to eventual winners Australia in 1999. They were hosts for their first World Cup in 1995 and were crowned champions at Ellis Park, Johannesburg, since then they have lost the aura of invincibility and it will be interesting to see if they or England will prove the strongest in pool A
Springboks To Head Pool 'A'
The Springboks quarter final place in 2003 guaranteed qualification for the finals in France. IRB ranked 5th they are grouped in Pool A with England, Samoa, USA and Tonga. They will look forward to gaining revenge for the recent losses against the English and we anticipate they will be the winners of pool A
South African Player To Watch
One South African player looking forward to the World Cup is Bryan Gary Habana who is the fastest man on the international stage at this time. The 24 year old winger can conjure a score from any position, with the ball in his hands and in space, any defence will struggle to handle his pace. The usual powerful Bok's pack should provide enough ball for us to see many examples of this fine player excelling on the ultimate stage in France.
