Stade De France in Saint Denis
The Stade De France is the premier stadium in France hosting Rugby and Football internationals. It is an 80,000 seater stadium which was opened in January 1998 ready for France's hosting of the football world cup. It featured Frances greatest home international moment when they beat Brazil 3-0 in the football world cup final.
Stade Français and Toulouse set a new club french league game attendance record in October 2005 of over 95,000 by using the stadium instead of Stades usual venue of the 12,000 capacity Stade Jean-Bouin. They needed upwards of 30,000 to break even but were surprised at the prebooking of over 60,000 and then the total on the day.
The stadium which is just north of Paris will feature games right through the contest with 3 pool games including the opening match on the 7th September 2007, a quarter final, both semi finals and the final on 20th October 2007.
